Test Laboratory

Solar Project

This is the first accredited laboratory for testing of polymeric materials in Bulgaria, including Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC-U) Profiles for the production of windows and doors BDS EN 12608-1: 2016.

What we have

The testing laboratory has a test bench for testing pedestrian doors, windows, garage, and industrial doors and facades, as well as apparatus for determining the physicomechanical parameters of polymer and elastomer compositions and PVC profiles.

Services

Research and innovation

Assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products under System 3

Design and creation of new composite materials

Evaluation of the durability and modification of the physical and mechanical properties of the polymeric materials

Training and staffing

In the testing laboratory, there are held annually trainings and internships of bachelors and masters from

CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGICAL AND METALLURGICAL UNIVERSITY – SOFIA

and students from NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF PRECISION.

The testing laboratory was established in 2003.

Since 2006 it is accredited by EA BAS in accordance with the requirements of BDS EN ISO / IEC 17025. Registration number 150 LE.
